Juicy Ground Turkey Burger Recipe
Switch things up a bit from regular ground beef.
Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
2 tablespoons grated onion (or finely minced)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional, for extra flavor)
1 teaspoon smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ cup breadcrumbs (or almond flour for low-carb)
1 egg
Optional:
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
¼ teaspoon cayenne for spice
¼ cup shredded cheese mixed in (for richness)
Directions
In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients. Gently mix with your hands or a spoon until just combined. Avoid over mixing—it can make the burgers tough. Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into patties about ¾-inch thick. Press a slight dimple in the center of each one to help them cook evenly and avoid puffing up.
Stovetop: Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat with a bit of oil. Cook for 5–6 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Grill: Grill over medium heat for the same time, flipping once.
Let rest, serve on a toasted bun loaded with all your favorite toppings.
